Please pray that we would be renewed and reminded every day of the Good News, and that the joy we find in the Gospel, the joy of God, would dominate our lives. Pray that God would give us wisdom in every situation; that we would turn to Him for guidance, and trust in His goodness. Please pray that our entire team, both those from the states and those from Taiwan, would be unified in love. That we would be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, in the same way that God forgave us through Christ.
I thank God for all of your constant support and prayers, you guys are all in our prayers as well.

Update.
God has been so good to us these past few days.
We’ve been extremely busy practicing skits, making props and planning games for the upcoming camp. The camp will run from Tuesday to Friday, from 9AM to 5PM. While all this preparation has been tough and trying, God has been faithful and continues to renew us and give us joy in our witnessing. He grants us comfort and rest in our exhaustion, joy in our frustration, and peace in our prayer.
Pray for our health, as the exhaustion is catching up to us. May God keep us and protect us from sickness. Pray for energy, as we start the camp tomorrow. Pray for the kids, that they might receive our message with open hearts and that more kids might sign up for our camp. Pray that God will grace us with His presence and that we would be able to love the kids with a Christ-like love.
Amen.

Praise Him
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we’ve arrived safely at our town near the Southern Taiwan city of Jia Yi. This morning we were able to be part of the inaugural service at the local gospel center. I was extremely encouraged by the preaching of missionary pastor, as he reminded us of transforming power of the glorious gospel of Jesus, sharing from the scriptures and from his personal testimony.
He reminded us of the truth found in Ecclesiastes, that God has put eternity into man’s heart, and that man’s heart is able to be only satisfied by the eternal, God, through Jesus Christ. He told us of the places he sought for joy, being a teenage father, joining with gangs, addicted to drugs, and how the gospel of Jesus Christ and the truth of the Word of God was the only thing that could bring him true joy and the satisfaction he was looking for. He shared with us from John 4, the transforming power of God. He likened his own conversion to the conversion of the Samaritan woman at the well, as he, upon receving the fount of living water, dropped his own jugs of water, broken cisterns, his former ways, to go into the city and to tell of his past. The things that he were once so ashamed of, but now loves to speak of because he has been freed and saved from it by the truth of Jesus Christ. And the things that he once loved and was indeed enslaved to, he honestly couldn’t care less for.
We have also met the Taiwanese College Co-workers, and it has been a real blessing to meet them and to sing praises to God together.
Please keep us in your prayers, for our health, (I can barely speak) and that, looking to the Love of God, we would look to love all those around us.
They will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another.

Request
Please remember to keep this team in your prayers, that we would keep our eyes on Christ, and that he would keep us from getting distracted or discouraged by anything. Pray that we would be testimonies not only to those that we are sharing to good news with in Taiwan, but that we would also constantly remember to extend the grace and love of Christ to each other as well.
Thank you!
Daniel

Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace.
